Our holiday drives benefit local community organizations serving the needy. Gifts of food and toys are donated directly after each collection event. HBCF also seeks donations of distinctive auction items and services for MNCBIA's Winter Gala Silent Auction. Your gifts are tax-deductible.
General financial contributions to Home Builders Care Foundation (HBCF) can be made year-round, most notably during our annual fall fundraising drive. As a charitable organization, contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law and are most welcome.
Through HBC Utilities LLC, developers can sell FFBAs at a discounted rate or donate them outright to our organization. An investment with HBC Utilities LLC helps Home Builders Care establish an endowment base to sustain our increased efforts for years to come.

As a non-profit that provides cost-effective solutions to other community non-profits with shelter-related construction needs, every investment with the Home Builders Care Foundation yields a significant return, both in terms of the generated value of services, as well as the number of homeless and at-risk individuals and families our services can affect.
We have a strong 25+ year history of delivering high quality shelter at a greatly reduced costs. With each project we undertake, HBCF utilizes a shared investment approach - with an aim to help some our most vulnerable neighbors improve their quality of life and achieve stability.
We invest in our community partners’ efforts to provide housing to vulnerable families and individuals via our in-kind contributions of construction services and they in turn can better use their funding for the continuation and expansion of supportive social services and programs that help keep their clients housed.
The Home Builders Care Foundation, Inc. is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit organization. Donations to our organization are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Our Federal Tax Identification Number is 52-1389604. A copy of our most recent financial statement is available upon request by contacting our office. Documents and information submitted to the State of Maryland under the Maryland Charitable Solicitations Act are available from the Office of the Secretary of State, State House, Annapolis, MD 21401 for the cost of copying and postage.
Builder Captains are needed to help coordinate and supervise our shelter-related construction projects. General responsibilities include leading efforts with establishing the scope of work, creating a budget, soliciting in-kind donations, invoicing and record-keeping and overseeing the completion of the project.
Project-specific contributions are generally solicited and generated as new projects are undertaken and the scopes of work are identified. Please consider joining us by helping out on an upcoming project. We can help you organize a community service project for your company,
