Home Builders Care Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides donated construction expertise to other non-profits that provide shelter. We are the official charity of the Maryland Building Industry Association (MBIA).
Our core activities bring together two key stakeholder groups in our communities -
With each project, we invest in our non-profit partners’ program efforts via our in-kind contributions of construction services and they in turn invest in the continuation and expansion of services to help keep vulnerable populations safely housed and on the path to stability. From simple renovations to large builds, we are able to save our non-profit partners thousands in construction costs through the power of Builders Giving Back. Potential new projects are evaluated regularly by the HBCF Board of Directors. How Can We Help? Tell us about your Nonprofit and its construction needs. |
Happy Holidays from Home Builders Care.

permanent supportive housing for the formerly homeless Tri Pointe Homes and Home Builders Care recently completed a renovation project for the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless. Cordell Place was once a four-story office building. Today is has 32 individual furnished apartment units, each with a half-bath. Additionally, on each floor, and shared by 8 residents, there are shower rooms and a common full size kitchen.
Thanks to Tri Pointe and their trade partners, all four (4) communal kitchens have been upgraded with high quality, durable and accessible products, fixtures and finishes. |
