The Maryland Center for Housing is our industry’s home for advocacy, networking and education. Constructed largely in part with in-kind donations of materials and labor, the Maryland Center for Housing is two-story, 10,000 sq. ft. commercial office building with ample meeting space. Completed in 2014, the lead donor of the Maryland Center for Housing was the late Mr. Stewart Greenebaum, Greenbaum Enterprises.
Owned by the Home Builders Care Foundation (HBCF), the building is rented to the Maryland Building Industry Association along with other tenants. Rent income paid by tenants to HBCF, along with conference room rental revenue, helps provide a stable, long-term funding source to endow the Foundation and support its charitable construction activities throughout Maryland and DC for years to come.
