The first Home Builders Care TurnKey Project of 2020 is complete! 

Just last week new carpeting was installed at The Bernie House, a local nonprofit that is a part of the solution to those made homeless due to domestic violence in Maryland. The Bernie House provides the non-offending parent and children, who would otherwise be homeless, a genuine family environment while they are still receiving counseling and additional human services to ensure stabilitywhen they transition to permanent housing.

The Home Builders Care TurnKey Grant provided all new carpeting in the safe home as the nonprofit prepared to welcome a new family in need of healing and support as they recover from a domestic violence crisis. 

Special thanks to MBIA member Friends and Family Flooring for stepping up to help with this project and provide quick and quality service during the Bernie House's tight turnover timeframe.
