While good news about a vaccine is on the horizon, there is no known end date in this fight against coronavirus. 

Now more than ever, the Red Cross urgently needs the help of blood and platelet donors and blood drive hosts to meet the needs of patient care.

The Home Builders Care Foundation and the Maryland Building Industry Association are teaming up on Dec. 3. to host a blood drive at its Maple Lawn office headquarters. Donating blood is essential to community health.
